it's a good malty IPA for sure, been drinking them for awhile. reminds me of my hometown scotch ale ten penney

although I can see why you've always been a big fan of two roads, they do not go bad. Just picked up a 4 pack from september and could hardly tell the difference.

Monks is full on legit that they get those brews. Some other place in no libs had some pliny a few years ago but I’ve always been pretty impressed with that score.

Noticeably Different then the last batch? Nov-dec. I Found that fair maiden to be off with a rather astringent taste. Prospect was money though

Saw on Green Flash's Instagram today that they are scaling back distribution. Looks like some breweries may have tried to expand too much too soon.
As someone else said, there is a story behind the name, and I also have to say that I think Smuttynose is a great name for a brewery. It sounds vaguely inappropriate, which I enjoy in a product that is marketed solely to people over the age of 21.

i love smitty nose but the auction seems to have come as a result of the decision to begin a state of the art bottling ops in 2009* when canning started to take off. hope the best and will continue to buy.

Yeah, others have been saying the same around here. The brewery is a few miles from my house and a friend has been involved with financing them in the past. Fwiw, the owner was born on 3rd base of u know what I mean.

Surprised to see this on tap in Newburyport last night.

Foam Experimental Jetset. Canned today. Pretty damn good, but not as smooth as I was hoping. Taste is a little boozy...

Just cracked a can of H2H#2. Haven’t seen it in cans yet. So many options! Vermont rules.
