some damn good IPA's out there

Great Rhythm Brewing in Portsmouth NH is tasty.

Treehouse has a place in Tewksbury, MA as well. I’ve never been but it’s not too far out of your way.

North Star v37 from New Terrain. Very solid effort. A big improvement over their Golden Haze which is pretty good to start with.

If you are in the area it’s worth a stop.

Mast Landing and Goodfire for sure. Barreled Souls in Saco is quite good and flies a bit under the radar.

Been a while since I've had a good hazy - really like Elevation's Milkshake Duck.

Don't like much of Stone's stuff but their Enjoy by IPAs are usually good. This one is super smooth

10 Barrel All Ways Down DIPA: way too drinkable for a 9% beer. I'd like to hate on these guys for being sellouts, but this one is pretty tasty. I also love their westside Bend brewpub.

We almost bought a house in that neighborhood about a decade ago. In retrospect, I wish we had. 10 Barrel and Good Life were still somewhat under the radar, and Primal Cuts / Growler Phil's was just down the street (half meat shop / deli, half beer store / taproom). Both cheap and upscale Mexican at the roundabout. Quick bike ride into town.

And of course Ale Apothecary, the reclusive master of sours.

Yeah, love that neighborhood. Haven't been to Bend since pre-pandemic, though.

Me neither. And there was a distinct anti-tourist, anti-california influx vibe that I can only imagine is worse now.

Probably told this story, but the first time my wife walked into Broken Top Bottle Shop, she was wearing a Boundary Bay sweatshirt (not on purpose, just because she always did back then). The jaded guy behind the counter said, "whoa, Bellingham! Legit"

Roadhouse just purchased Melvin. I guess this is relevant to this thread. Maybe they can turn the company culture and tarnished reputation of Melvin around. I enjoy Roadhouse beers.

Lots of ski-themed beers this winter. Bale Breaker also has/had one called High Camp Winter IPA.

Haha no as far as I know this one is just a brewery, don't think they even have a tasting room.

This one celebrating Belmont Station's 26th anniversary is particularly dank.
