some damn good IPA's out there

I happened to be at one of the two bars in the state where Fiddlehead’s D-Run DIPA was being served this weekend. It was brewed to inaugurate WinterWonderGrass coming to Stratton.

Edit - found a pic of the can online

Local to me Medusa - Soft Machine.

This is their first attempt at a New England IPA, pretty nice.

Last night, got to play in the barrel room aka “Oakville” at Proclamation. 5 different foeders and unrestricted opportunity to create blends in search of the next bottle release. Unreal fun.

I get that occasionally from southern New England buddies and I’m always impressed by it. Way underrated beer.

I hear you on trying to cut DIPA’s, heavy in so many ways.
BBC has the best session/table beer I’ve had yet. Future Glow is really tasty and only 4.5%.

While I appreciate the craft the last thing I need is an 8% beer that drinks like 5%. Working on practicing what I preach...... some day soon

Was there Friday, only I was smart enough to fill a large growler of #5 which was happily shared with a few friends at a dinner party last night. Comment from 1 who is not a beer drinker (wine and bourbon) was "this is the best beer I've ever had, now I get why you drive out there all the time." I of course had her repeat this when Mrs FD was nearby!

    Karma Emulsion is 5% gold!
