Pretty sure I posted this one before, but it's so tasty that a repeat ain't that bad...
"Love Hazy IPA"
Almanac Beer Co., Alameda, CA
Hops: Mosaic, Simcoe, & Citra
IBU
ABV: 6.6%
Malt: Pilsner, Pale, Oats, Spelt
BOD: 01/31/19
Last Drink Date: 2/25/19
This is one of the best West Coast brewed N/E-styled hazes I've had. Very even fruit forward taste with a complimentary bitter finish. Keep in mind that I have only had West Coast brewed N/E-styled IPAs, so I can't compare to anything else, but this is a keeper.

Most DIPAs are a bit strong (both in terms of alcohol and taste) for my liking, but I've had a few that I really enjoyed from Revision and Moonraker, respectively.
And Almanac's Pilsner is really damn tasty, too.
So I'm down to give "Loud Love" a try if I stumble across it.
Thanks for the rec.

Just seeing this now. Yeah, I was feeling good post fatbike ride and don't remember specifics. We sampled a bunch that night at our local beer geek establishment. They were good

"City of the Sun IPA"
Modern Times Beer
SRM/Gold: 5
IBU: 60
Final Gravity: 1.010
Hops: Mosaic, Motueka, Experimental Hop 07270
Malts: Two Row, White Wheat, Caravienne
ABV: 7.6%
BOD: 1/8/19
Last Drink Date: 3/1/19
One of my favorite things about winter is this release.
I will say the can I drank tonight was starting to get a wee bit long-in-the-tooth with a slight stringent aftertaste, but the earlier cans I drank, which were much closer to my anal "28 DAYS" personal policy, were super tasty. And even now, at almost 2 months past canning, it's still heads-and-tails above most other West Coast IPAs.
While the can proclaims "Hoppy. Juicy", it's really, really dank smelling, like stanky bud nuggets packed in an aluminum can.

"Hazy Rider"
IPA
Moonraker Brewing Company, Auburn, CA
ABV: 7/0%
Hops: Simcoe, Citra, Ekuanot
BOD: 1/14/19
Last Drink Date: 3/3/19
Paired this with a bowl of brown rice, kale, pinto beans, and grilled salmon.
Interesting fruit forward taste that reminded me of either apricots or persimmons.
Clean and drinkable, even long after my self-imposed 28-day from canning rule.

"Quarter Panel IPA"
Gilman Brewing Company, West Berkeley, CA
Style: West Coast IPA
ABV: 6.5%
IBU: 69
Hops: Amarillo, Simcoe, Mosaic
Old School-styled Cali IPA with a smooth start and strong, bitter finish. Nice antithesis to the haze craze (don't get me wrong, I love me some hazes, but sometimes you gotta get your OG bitterness on!).
No BOD on the can, but I purchased it over the weekend and drank it today (Tuesday, March 5th).
Rather cloudy for a W/C IPA, with a touch of sediment at the bottom of the glass (one might mistake it for a "traditional" haze at first glance, but it's got that bitter kick on the backside).

"Pile Face American India Pale Ale"
Against The Grain Brewery, Louisville, KY
BOD: ?
Stamp on Bottom of the Can: 27/06/19 (assuming this is the "drink by" date?)
Hops: ?
IBU: ?
ABV: 6.5%
Recommended drinking temp: 48 degrees
Can art: Robbydavis.com
Propaganda on the can: "Rummaged Delight! In a world where all the skulls are being used up, we are left with nothing but piles of faces. But fear not, that's where the story is truly told! Pile of Face is the institution of American IPA, with all the character and drink-ability you would expect as we celebrate American indulgence!"
Not 100% sure where I stand with this one.
Very floral on the tongue at first taste, then a bit thin, but a nice, delayed bitter finish. I felt it was kind of lackluster for the first couple of pulls, but then it grew on me the longer I drank it. I would give it another try for sure.

I could drink that beer every day and likely never get tired of it! Unfortunately, I missed the last release.

I usually dig most stuff from Treehouse but this Baby Bright is one big “meh.” Not much hop flavor, mouth feel of Coors Light and an odd spicy finish. There are quite a few beers similar to this around here (5.x% IPA/APA’s), BBC Elaborate Metaphor and HF Edward to name a couple, and they’re superior to this in every way.
I was stoked to get this, as I’m loving hoppy, lower ABV beers lately, but this Baby Bright is a huge let down.
Might as well have had the PB’er pounder that’s in my fridge.

Wing Stop is not my favorite and their beer selection sucks. That said, one by my place just move WAY up on my list with “$2 bottles beer” coors light? Yes. Lagunitas IPA? YES!!! That needs to be exploited heavily.

Breakside Brewery, Portland, OR
"What Rough Beast" - New England-Style India Pale Ale
Hops: ?
IBU: ?
ABV: 6.7%
BOD: ?
Yet another solid entry from Breakside. A clean, tasty, and refreshing PacNorWest take on the haze craze.
Nice juicy fruit aroma, indistinct fruit forward burst on the mouth followed by a clean, mildly bitter finish.
Went nicely with a homemade kale/chard pesto infused brown rice and steamed veggie (broccoli and cauliflower and beets) bowl and some milk chocolate morsals for dessert, accompanied by the Red Hot + Riot compilation (Fela Kuti covers)
