some damn good IPA's out there
Had a lot of Hill Farmstead, never had Difference and Repetition IPA. 6% ABV. Damn near perfect.

Pops sent a little New Years care package that arrived today. I know bottling dates plays a factor but after talking with the folks at Start Line this past summer, it hurts the small breweries to an extent. This was canned in September and is still great. Very excited for the Citra cutting tiles with honey from Trillium. Which was canned 12/20. It’s a real pain in the ass that this showed up during my motivation to drink less

Wasn't able to find it other than at a market (I think Raley's) in Reno and bought a sixer of it just to give it a try.
Just had one of these with breakfast. Pretty tasty.
Solid "West Coast" (i.e. non-hazy) IPA. If I could find it more regularly, I'd have it around as a regular go-to.
Interesting in that it doesn't have a BOD, but it has a "Drink By Date"/"Enjoy By Date", which is April 2019 (I bought the sixer at the end of December). That seems like a long shelf life to me for an IPA, eh?

Snagged this from the local market a few weekends back when I got stuck at the mountain due to jacknugget toolorists who don't know how to drive in the snow.
Just cracked it open (ironically during another snowstorm that will probably have all the jacknugget toolorists wrecking their minivans and getting me stuck at the mountain again this weekend!).
No BOD and not a ton of info on hops (they just mention Citra on the label) or IBU.
But I've had a few other IPAs from this Oregon brewery and they've all been solid.

Offshoot Beer Co. (The Bruery), Placentia, CA
"Relax" Hazy IPA
ABV: 6.8%
Hops: Citra, Centennial, Simcoe, Amarillo
IBU: ? (guessing somewhere between 30 and 45)
BOD: 11/29/18
First Drink Date: 12/25/18
Last Drink Date: 1/18/19
Definitely tasted more robust and had a fuller overall flavor when I drank it back over Christmas, but still very drinkable almost a month later. Easily one of my favorite Hazes to come out of the West Coast scene.

One of my goto favorite "West Coast"-styled IPAs:
"Integral" IPA
Device Brewing Company, Sacramento, CA
Hops: Mosaic
ABV: 7%
IBU: 50
BOD: 11/08/18
Drink Date: 1/19/19
I do have to say that I think the 28 days from BOD rule applies to this IPA. I've had it many times, but this batch, which was purchased and then drunk more than 2 months after canning was a tad flat and didn't have the usual snappy spice kick for which I'm quite fond. Still drinkable, but I'll only buy it a tad fresher from here on out (which is kind of hard in my area).

"Hazewagon" IPA
10Torr Precision Crafted/Whipple Brewing & Distilling, Reno, NV
Hops: Mosaic
ABV: 6.4%
IBU: 50.0
SRM: 6.0
BOD: 12/05/18
Drink Date: 1.19.19
Second time having this "local" brew (bought some last summer) and I'm starting to really dig it as it tweaks the standard "hazy" modus operandi by being higher up on the IBU scale. Just a wee bit fruit forward followed by a nice, crisp bitterness that is lacking from pretty much every other West Coast brewed haze. Nice twist.
Their brewery/Taproom is really nice and it's located in downtown Reno a few blocks from the Police station, so if you get really hammered you can easily wobble over to the drunk tank for a free night of sleep.
