    Jealous of your lunch.

Just had New Image Coriolus Effect last night. No photo. NE Hazy from Colorado - Arvada I think. Reasonably priced at maybe $12-13 / 6pack cans. Very juicy, grapefruity, no hint of acrid, medium mouthfeel -all in all I was quite impressed and will buy it again for sure.

F.O.C. LESS MONSTER New England India Pale Ale

I think this one might have been a bit past it's optimal drink date. Hard to tell since there's no BOD or "drink by" dates on the can. Also, the local natural grocer from whence I bought this tends to have a bunh of stock in a warm back room, so no telling how many times it went through drastic temperature changes.
That said, it was drinkable. That generic, citrusy juice blast upfront followed by a strong bitter finish. I would be down to drink this again, especially if I could get it fresh from the brewery or with a better idea of when it was canned in relation to when I drank it.

Another one that despite having a "drink by" date, might have been a bit off due to storage, but was still tasty. Clean upfront with a potent bitter backend.
I've had this before and recall it tasting a lot fresher and fuller the last time I had it. Also, not my favorite of the Hop Concept IPAs, but still heads and shoulders above most IPAs.

A clean, well-balanced, and smooth hazy IPA. Not sure if it's the oats that add a touch of creaminess to the overall flavor profile, but this one was smooth and tasty all around.

Another even keeled hazy IPA. Generic citrusy aroma and taste upfront with a nice, mellow bitterness on the backend.

    Gigantic IPA, Beer #1

A quick hit of juicyness upfront followed by a long, well-keeled bitter finish. This is what I would deem "A Classic West Coast IPA". Not too heavy, but not too light. Rather just right.

(All apologies for the out-of-focus picture. It looked fine after I snapped it, so I finished off the beer. Then when I uploaded it, wtf, it was all blurry).

The Lucky Eejits Out Of Time West Coast Hazy IPA
Shoe Tree Brewing (Carson City, NV)
collab with The Lucky Eejits and Bypolar Records to celebrate the Oakland, CA based punk band's new album, Out of Time.
    ABV: 6%
    Hops: Azacca and Amarillo
    Oats: Flaked
    Wheat: Flaked
    IBU: 30

Smooth and clean hazy hybrid that has a nice citrus aroma and an even, mildly bitter finish. This beer is super sessionable and goes down with ease.
This is the 3rd beer I've had from this small brewery situated on the North East end of the state capital. Each one I've had has been stellar. The brewery/taproom is super small and rustically quaint. Worth a visit if you find yourself in the Reno/Tahoe area.

    Happy Hops IPA
Russian River Brewing Company, Windsor, CA
    ABV: 6.5%
    Hops: ?
    IBU: ?
    BOD: 7/17/19
    Drink Date: 8/24/19

From the label: "Happy Hopswas originally brewed in 1944 by the Grace Brother's Brewery in Santa Rosa, CA. We are paying homage to the Grace family, whose brewery closed in the 1960's and have revived "Happy", the charming hop character who graces the front of this label. Happy Hops is an IPA brewed with both new and old world hop varieties, giving this beer bold aromas and flavors with notes of tropical and stone fruits."

My take: This is like a juicier and fruitier version of RRB's classic Blind Pig IPA. Fruit forward with a luscious mouth feel out the gate followed with a clean, mellow, and even bitter finish. Super tasty.

Guava notes upfront followed by a nice, moderately bitter finish. Tons of sediment, though (like big chunks of coagulated yeast, even after rolling/shaking the can before the pour).

Had this in the fridge at work since Friday. Solidly disappointing, wouldn't buy it again. Slightly metallic tasting without much hop flavor. Don't think it was old? Click image for larger version.
