i get so confused up there, since everybody calls each chunk of snow "The Patches".
there's like 3 patches, the middle of which i was led to believe was "The Patch" then there's the other patch around the bend (heretofore dubbed "The OG Patch") and then there's several more up the winding road.
so which of all of those is "The Patch" or is there really no singular patch and just "The Patches" or does it really matter?
all i know is that in June there was a "park" set up where PD took his girls last weekend, but that the "park" had been moved around the bend when i returned a month later in July.

The one with the rails setup is the original Patch. It holds snow the longest and hence the Patch. It holds snow because its in a protected northern facing ravine, so the snow can really build up in there. The latest I've skied it, was probably Sept 99' if you don't count the ridiculous year of 1995 where the Forestdale road was still blocked by snow at the end of August.
