US Teamer C. Marshall +vibes needed

Just heard a friend of mine from when I was a high school racer is down and needs some +++vibes

    http://www.firsttracksonline.com/New...alator-Mishap/

this kid is an insane ripper... his skills go far beyond the course. One of the best skiers I've ever personally known. Praying he makes it out of this A-OK, and can get back on the hill ASAP

edit: changed "was" to "is"... added boldface

    Question WTF???

U.S. Ski Team alpine racer Cody Marshall, 26, is being treated at University Hospital in Salt Lake City after suffering a head injury in an accidental fall early Thursday morning in downtown Park City. It has been reported that Marshall, originally of Pittsfield, Vt., was sliding down the escalator within Park City's Main Street Mall when the incident occurred.

++++ Vibes and a speedy recovery

Crazy, I just heard about this all the way back here in VT from A 65 year old ranger on the golf course today,I knew TGR would have it covered
I knew exactly where it was cuz it's the Only damn escelator in PC, and I have slide down it many times leaving sidecar.

Brutal. Wasn't there a pro snowboarder who died doing the same thing in Japan?'

Cody Marshall, I remember that name. He and the rest of the family were there every year at Kmart June 1st Fun Slalom 1992-1997. Lucky and I were generally between 7th to 12th places year-in, year-out out of the 200 participants, however there was always some of the Marshall kids ahead of us. Awesome racers...regardless of their age.

those are the guys (and gals)... i would try so darn hard, but never outright beat the marshals in the fun slalom...always second to those guys... it didn't matter who showed up... they always pulled it together for a win

on a side happy note: i wonder if we were ever competing at the june slaloms in the past Pat and we didn't even know it....?

also, there is a blog to keep people updated on his recovery

I did all of them (the race) except 1992. Lucky was in from 1994-97. I would believe we split the 4 races we did against each other.

So if you skied any of them (except 92 - arrived too late to register), yes, we raced against each other. That's really cool. I would be curious to see those race results...come to think of it...I believe remembering seeing your name. You would have been top10 at least one of those years, even if much younger...am I correct?

1992 was the first year on Superstar (prior June 1st would have been on Downdraft in 86)and 97 was the last year of the race. In 1997, Ms.MadPat did a few "take it easy" runs as she was 5 months pregnant with Morgane at the time. And yes, I had the same poles.
