Inaugural Friends of Berthoud Pass OPEN FORUM
Please join the executive board, stakeholders, members and sponsors of
Friends of Berthoud Pass on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004 in Golden, Colo. at the
Inaugural Friends of Berthoud Pass Open Forum
This event, unlike our Open House in May, will be a more hands-on “working”
group, rather than a purely social event. This is the reason FOBP came together
in the first place—to share ideas, concerns and visions for the future so we’re
most effective in addressing the needs of the recreating public at Berthoud Pass.
In a casual and functional open format, we will address a number of concerns,
including, but not limited to:
- · Access and safety issues.
· Avalanche education opportunities.
· The new lodge.
· Potential future operations.
· Partnerships.
· The organizational structure of FOBP.
· Any other ideas, time permitting.
Beer, snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.
We encourage you to bring along your ideas, enthusiasm and questions.
Memberships will be available at the door, so invite your friends.

If at all possible, please make on effort to attend our open forum. Its vitally important to the FOBP to solicit the ideas and opinions of the public. Whether you agree or disagree with positions we've taken is the past, let us know how you feel. No doubt about it, the future is up in the air. Make The Pass be what you want it to be.
