I think that beer better than most commercially produced American lagers. And I think the Amber is pretty good too.

I find Dos Equis to be unremarkable in every way. Ice cold I won't turn it down, but I would rarely if ever seek it out. Same goes for the amber.
And as for the ad campaign, the only thing I find "interesting", is why the hell would a bunch of young hot chicks be digging some fucking old ass bearded dude?
