That really depends on your outlook, or rather your step-sister's outlook

Zach Galifianakis with Eric and Tim made probably the best advertisement I've ever seen for Absolut Vodka.

Advertisers are going to have to find ways to get people to WANT to watch their ads - and I've not watched ads on TV in years (<3 u tivo)... but I watched all 3 of these and they stuck w/ me. Some people are not into absurdist comedy - but this stuff kills me.

    part 1

    part 2

    part 3

I think the fact that we are talking about this ad means it has been a successful campaign. To make people remember and talking about it. Isn't it?!?

That's only 40% of the process. If our consumption XX suddenly goes up, it really worked. Interweb chatter =/= instant profits.

Oh, I think it's successful- no doubt XX consumption will go up as a result (although they really had no advertising before, so it's possible that any advertising campaign would be successful in that regard). I just also think it's stupid, boring, and obvious.

    ^^^That is waaaay funnier than^^^

In college I knew two guys who were um passing a beer back and forth over a girl. From what they've said, she told them to put the beer down or she was done. They picked the beer over her.

Now that was fucking funny. Has that one been on TV?

I don't mind the commercials, and they did get us talking about them. And some of the people talking about them bought dos equis. Worked on my roomate. I'd call that successful.

Atleast its not some kid who works at quizno's contemplating sticking his dick in the conveyor oven. "Put it in me, Scott." That shit is gross.

A helicopter dropping a white piano on top of a mountain.

Rescuing a fox from a gang of fox hunters.

Owning a pet owl that is apparently allowed to fly around the house.

These are all improvements. I am now somewhat interested.

I think those ads are amazing. Did nobody from Quizno's watch them before sending them to air?
