Lyrik or VAN36 Coil Owners or Shop Mechanics - Help

I need to know some standard information about a Lyrik Coil Spring.
    The actual spring itself.

Trying to fit this into a 55 ETA.

    I need to know:

    Outer Diameter
    Free Length

    then

    Coil Wire diameter
    or
What you think the actual rate of the spring might be.
(ie place a 5lb weight on there and measure the deflection)

im sick and tired of this soft spring.

similarly, anyone have RS contact info?
cant seem to find it at first glance on the website

and seriously, youd think we were all morons going around ordering springs by what color they powdercoat them.

we're smart enough to know what size spring to order for a rear shock by specifying rate and displacement, so why not with a freaking spring for a fork?!

    ok

Yo - a spring shop or moto shop in town may have a spring rate measurement device (I'm sure there is a cool name for this). I know that Luby up at Dirt Labs in Boulder has one and I'd imagine he'd measure the spring for you. Email coming your way also.

the fancy name would either be a load cell or force transducer or something like that

really do one of two things

apply a known displacement and measure the force with one of those things i mentioned

    or

apply a force and measure the displacement with a fancy tool called a ruler

    but i know my rate
ive verified the physical test by putting a 3lb weight on there and measuring the displacement with the analytical formulas for calculating spring rates.

really i just need someone to measure springs i dont have access to, so if he has one of those springs, a ruler, and a known weight, or an accurate scale, id be grateful!

similarly, if someone can just measure me what length and OD a coil spring from a Fox VAN 36 is, that would work as well.
I know the rate each color corresponds to from here

and nevermind on the fox spring
just found out from fox that their springs in the van are 12.4"
ie, really freaking long for me to use in my 55eta.

i guess if anyone has a 32van they want to measure, they can, but i have a feeling the diameter will be too small.

    anyone on the lyrik?

and maybe anyone with an Older Marz 66?
2007 or earlier i think, when it was based around the 35mm stantions and 150-170mm of travel?
    Woo?
