Redbreast is RIGHTEOUS Irish Whiskey and in a whole other class, any of its age expressions.

    I need to try Paddy's.

Been drinking The Tyrconnel for a long time. Jamison is still my everyday whiskey, though. But yeah, only three types of brown water in my cabinet...these two (always) and Pappy for special occasions.

SO did I waste my money on whatever brown I bought for you when the Blazers went farther than the Jazz a few years ago??

Picked up a bottle of this for the Holiday https://mcconnellsirishwhisky.com/ place near my son's field had a weird selection and this was different at the right price point, $29. ( redbreast was like $60)

    Will report back. cool story

Tyrconnell was the first Irish whiskey other than Jameson that I tried. My mother was in Ireland with her sisters and bought me a bottle. I remember not caring for it much at the time. By the time the bottle was finished I really enjoyed it.

I called and bought a bottle at the place we discussed, maybe you never got it. We can connect offline.

McConnells is nice. Not Tyrconnel or Red breast nice, but better than Paddy/Powers and I rate those above Jamo/Tully/Bushmills.
Great value. Might be my new goto

    Irul, never liked the spots.

My favorite is RedBreast 15. The Yellowspot is a close second. Redbreast 12 is a step below imo. I wish I could convince myself something cheaper was near as good...

I hate reading these threads. I have not had a drink (or a cup of coffee) in a month. Force to quit both cold turkey. Thank GOD for Mother Nature.
