Tokyo surf
I am flying into Tokyo Mid-June and might see what the surfing scene is around there. Anyone ever been over there. What should I be looking for?

Chiba has some good surf spots which arent too far away from Tokyo. Day trips doable, but there are several surf pensions out there as well. Ichinomiya and Katsuura tend to get good waves, but can be hit or miss. If you're still looking Ill find out my mates pensions info.

Afro its not the cleanest lodge around but the block that owns it is a great guy and really good friend.

I've since returned from Japan and had a blast, anyhow I never did get around to surfing but did watch some guys surf some anklebiter sized waves around kamakura, if I remember correct. Somewhere down there.

kamakura area hardly ever gets big and is usually packed. Its a good spot to pick up girls though.
The closest places from Tokyo with good surf all year round are Chiba and Ibaragi.
