Nice work, Mr. and Mrs. Madturtle.
I've been avoiding the ski forum because work/social obligations have prevented me from skiing this month, and I didn't want to get jealous reading sweet Eastside TRs like this one. Back to Sprocket Rockets indefinitely for me.

What kind of climbing? There is sweet stuff down by Bishop even Yosemite quality cragging but obviously at at much lower density (and crowds) you should check out next trip. The bigger alpine routes are mostly down in bishop and south but rumors said the snow wasn't as good (YMMV).
But Esha is McGee Crk drainage maybe 15 miles S of Mammoth and Pika/Duck Pass is Lake Mary Rd out of Mammoth.Last edited by madturtle; 05-11-2009 at 03:47 PM.
