Was in LL last year with Gotamas and we got three feet. I was reaaaalllly wishing I had brought my Megawatts or Hell Bents. Went on a short tour and girl with us was on pontoons and she was the only one that could stay afloat to make turns

I am heading to Argentina towards the end of the month and bringing Verdicts with Dynafits and Megawatts with FFR+. Case closed - if there is pow, I want my Megawatts.

Yeah, pretty fortunate he hit that spot in between the rocks.
That's a fairly remote area at Lenas, no?

Hey thanks for all the great info on this thread. I'll be heading down for my virgin penetration of the Andes next week. I have a month so plan to be mobile. Any recommendations on where to start based on current snow conditions? Sounds like LL is currently holding but southerly flow predicted for this weekend?

Las Leñas has great coverage. Further south around Bariloche is super boney, tho the forecast looks more promising.

I run a ski tour company in southern Argentina called PatagoniaSkiTours.com. We offer full service, guided ski tours of the lake district area around Bariloche during the whole month of August. We are currently offering two different 2-week tours, a Resort Tour and a Backcountry Tour. If you are looking for something a little different or something during another time, we also create Custom/Private Tours to meet guests' needs. Check us out if you're thinking of heading to the deep south.

I am interested in 1 week of heli skiing. How much will that cost? I have an unlimited budget.
