So can we blame the death of Hummers on Bush? Clinton certainly did all he could to promote them. I'm mostly bummed about SAAB, though.

I can't believe they're killing off Pontiac, but keeping Buick around. What a boring, old, useless brand. Cadillac could cover that product range no problem.

I figured Saturn was a bit of a success. Won't miss seeing dummers but don't the military still by boatloads of them?
It's not so much the model year, it's the high mileage or meterage to keep the youth of Canada happy

Relax folks, we'll make sure that this let down is as soft as possible and will hopefully have our nation's first government owned car manufacturer by late 2010. This is change you can believe in.

How can you go wrong with a beauty like this?
The Aztec wasn't the start of the end of Pontiac, it started long before that, but I knew shit was going downhill fast the first time I saw one of these beasts on the road.
BTW- I drove a Buick Lucerne a couple of times last summer and it was actually a decent car. It felt and drove almost exactly like a large Toyota, but I don't think anyone under 60 years old buys Buicks any more.# # #

Hey don't be dissin my blue dust buster. I moved around the country in that thing and hauled three homes worth of landscaping. One of the best vehicles I ever owned. No other vehicle provided the sensation of piloting the Starship Enterprise quite like the Transport.
Damn, I miss that thing.
