2009 Front Range CO conditions
It's time to start up the official 2009 conditions thread for the mountain lakes and rivers of Front Range Colorado.
After this last storm and the heat this week the flows are really starting to come up. Looks like it will be an average to above-average runoff after all.
This is my favorite site for flows - yea it's a kayaking site...
Colorado Flows - Eddy Flower
Shop reports:
Laughing Grizzly report
Rocky Mountain Anglers:
Big T
Boulder Creek
Clear Creek
RMNP - Moraine Park
St. Vrain
South Boulder Creek
South Platte - Cheeseman
Any other good resources on the web people are using for the area?Last edited by slaymore_sessions; 04-22-2009 at 08:26 PM.

I am curious about the Poudre. I have never fished it but have heard good things about it... (NW of Fort Collins)

The Poudre is rad. It fishes bigger than everything else on the east side of the front range, except for the South Platte. There aren't a whole lot of resources out there for guide books, reports though. but it's pretty easy to figure out if you just drive up Poudre Canyon. The trick is to go far enough upstream to avoid the boaters in the summer.

Nice! I live about an hour north of Fort Collins, so it is relatively close.
