Favoritest bagel and filling?
I'm munching on an onion bagel toasted with veggie cream cheese, tomato slices and lettuce (the usual). What's on your bagels?

Toasted everything bagel with scooped middle, veggie CC, shredded lettuce, tomato, and red onion: my daily hangover cure back when I lived in an area where they know how not to fuck this up.

can you explain the rationale behind the scoop? i always wondered this. is it because you're watching your carbs? or does the space in the middle now allow for more fillings to sit properly? please enlighten.
for me: depends on how quality of a bagel place it is. if they know how to make a bagel, i get an everything (like magicmt it has to have kosher salt as well) just plain with butter. NOT TOASTED. generally from a good place, they will still be warm anyways (mmm, essabagel) and this will melt the butter and make it delish). i also like a salt bagel with cucumber salad. another fav is raisin pumpernickle with walnut apple cream cheese.
if it's a lame bagel place and i know they're not fresh, then and ONLY then will i do it toasted.

Scooped middle = more CC = greater chance to vacate the fetal position.

everything, cream cheese, salami
untoasted
red onion would also be acceptable on the above
really though, there are so many variants
its impossible to pick just one
another one from when i was a kid
raisin, cream cheese, and honey zig zag ontop
lightly toasted with the toppings on it in a toaster oven just to warm the bagel and to dry the surface of the cc\honey a little bitLast edited by pechelman; 04-13-2009 at 12:31 PM.

Depends, Essa or H & H, sometimes no filling or just whipped cc or butter on whatever is warm. Actually, when I'm near H&H we usually walk across the street and grab some lox and what not. Most bagel places 'round here is toasted with cream cheese and either rocking the onion or everything (and a pumpernickel thrown in now and again for the variety)

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

...and Taylor Ham.
No, not ham, Taylor Ham (or Pork Roll if you're from Philthy).
