i need the perfect ski
im 6'2 and 160 lbs type 3 skier
i will be skiing VT next winter but then moving to UT next summer (possibly this fall but not sure) a good UT ski is top priority though over the east.
i need these in a ski:
quick response for the trees and bumps
something wider, 95 and up
able to land drops and natural hits very stable
decent on groomers
skis pow fairly well.
current skis are 178 line anthems
i like them but wish they were more stable and better in powder, i can ski bumps and trees pretty well on them. im not into park anymore so i feel i should be getting something less park orriented
i have looked at,
moment tahoes, rubys, and comis
hellbents and ep pros (seem too soft though)
volkl chopsticks
sir francis bacons
and JJ's.
so far im liking what i hear about moments.
help is very appreciated
size recomendation would be great too

Type 3 skier! Wow. You must be good.
Lhasa.Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?
fuck that noise.

though my normal response is Lhasa pows,
for $288 buy some 08/09 183 Gotamas at Sierra skis.
Unbelievable deal.Life of a repo man is always intense.

Moment Comi. The Ruby is awesome also and I highly recommend them, but next year's Comi is really, really, ridiculously good.

still laughing.
This guy is a level 8 skier, he needs some serious skis.
And if you searched, you'd have have found the following:
no one gives a fuck about your type or lesson [lhasa] level
all the skis you listed have plenty of reviews
there are one million of these which ski threads, even ones started by my JONG ass,
You'd find exactly the ski that would fit, just fucking [lhasa] read and read and read and read. Then choose.Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?
fuck that noise.

look into fisher watea;s, th 101 or the new 114 solid skis, the 2010 rossignol s3 would be good, its a skinnier s7 (98 waist with a ittle less rocker and still has sigma tech) perhaps the new salomon shogun (105) or k2 obsethds. the list is literally endless. the only one of those skis ive tried is the 101 and it was great, the oter just seem like cool skis that i wanna try.
