TR - Carr and Castle Towers, 2009.04.04-5

First we glide across the lake.

Flat light on the Sphinx Glacier.

Flat light on the summit of Carr.

    Flat light the next morning.

The light improves as we get high.

    Take it around the horn.

    Onto some north-facing goodness.

    The Castle was well fortified.

    Quality ski terrain.

    Telemarker first.

    Yeah.

    New horizons.

Can it really be this good?

    It was so good.

If only it could always be this good.

I have another new favorite place to ski.

Post more TRs like this. This the Lee-quality terrain.
