    Today on MSNBC

Sorry if it's a rerun, but I thought it was cool that they keep showing in on TV.

    Pretty incredible footage.

I'm sure somebody around here has to know the backstory on that.

what's with her stupid ass quote at the end. she makes it seem like it was he and two friends that casually decided to go skiing because it was a nice day when she has already established he is professional skier with a film crew and helicopter on hand.

    pfffft meth addicts.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Do avalanches make a sound when they start? I mean one that you can hear over your inner voice that is screaming 'OHHHHHHH SHIIIIT'.

The only one i've heard was a bit of a BOOOOMPHH mixed with WHOMMMMMPH....and I like the wet summer slides that sound like it's gravel pouring down the face.

Thats why its nice to know how to ski 60 mph+ over a moving river of snow. On that river note - anyone ever kayak an avvy?

I've heard a huge soft slab avy break and it was like a thunderclap
