    wait, a medium is 18"

    i'm 6'1", is it too small? I ride a large (not x large) 575.

seriously, i think it would fit you well, and im not just saying that to try sell it.
itll be a little on the "sporty\4x" side of the fit, rather the on the "dh\fr" side
the horiz TT on this frame is 23.25, which is only about .25 to .4" shorter than most peoples Large.

if you have a bike shop nearby, go hop on one, and keep in mind that with a quick and minor stem swap, you can change the effective TT by +/- .39" very easily (10mm change = .39")

    thanks man

    i'll think about it...

but I have this Pike sitting here and I thought the SL used a 140mm fork, but now I see it uses a 160mm...

also I'm eyeing a few different Coverts.

using a pike might be a little too steep, depending on how you like it

it would probably bring the frame to 68* head angle and 13.4" BB
(still very well on the AM side of things imo...)

then if you happened to have a smaller rear shock, you could bring it back to about 67* and 13" even and have 5/5" travel.

i love my enduro.. it feels super smooth down hill, and it responds really well uphill.
it rides like a lighter bicycle, yet still feels really sturdy. i have the medium also, and at about 5-9, i'm definitely on the short end of this size range. gotta say, i like this year's green color scheme, but i might be biased as i have four other green bikes... this silver is rad. my much more bike savvy boyfriend also really likes this bike, and he fits it well at around 5'-11". he was also psyched about it's uphill abilities, as well as it's ease of doing wheelies and manuals...
