    127 foot drop in brazil

    BBC News

A kayaker, who rode over a huge waterfall, has set a new world record.

26-year old Pedro Olivia hit speeds of 70 miles an hour as he descended the Salto Belo waterfall in Brazil, taking him just 2.9 seconds.

The terrifying stunt, which involved freefalling down a 127 feet drop easily shattered the existing record.

Hmmm, haven't seen anything posted in here about that yet.

Anyone else have a problem with the 70 mph bit? That's pretty fast for a plastic my calculations.

Edit: Okay, pretty close. Damn, that's fast.
