flyby has you covered for the misdirected link option...
I've always thought it was fun to hide or obscure links in a post. Some are more obvious, some much less.
Can you find 3 (somewhat) hidden links in this post?

Whatever you want the hidden link to display as.
The you-can't-possibly-mess-this-set-of-steps-up way:
#1 - Copy the URL you want to direct us to.
#2 - click the "insert link" button (the globe with the chain link in it).
#3 - paste your URL in the pop-up.
#4 - After you hit OK or enter or whatever, you will see some text highlighted in your comment section. Just start typing whatever you want the link to display as.
#5 - Once done, move your cursor outside the brackets and continue typing.
So instead of http://www.eatabagofdicks.com/ you get check out my awesome new site, yo!
And if you quote any post, you can just look at how they did it too.

The clicky clicky part is where you just write something in to click on.

You can also just type whatever you're going to say in the comment box, highlight whatever words you want to be the link, then click on the "insert link" button and cut/paste the web address. Your highlighted words will become the link.
