AK Discounted Private Heli with H2O Guides
As some of you may or may not know, I have spent the last two seasons working and guiding in Valdez, Alaska with H2O Guides. We have had an epic start to the season, with sick snow, blue sky and amazing descents.
While I wouldn't typically post this on here, this deal is the best price I've seen for a private ship here at H2O and I just wanted to share it. I hope a group of ripping skiers can make use of this opportunity. Due to a recent cancellation, we have an opening for a private helicopter from April 4th – 11th. After talking with Dean and our crew, we'd like to share this opportunity with industry folks and core skiers to come slay AK this spring. So, H2O is offering a one-time 40% discount to Maggots for this trip only.
This is the most epic way to heli ski in Alaska. A private ship allows you the freedom and flexibility to ski anywhere in the largest tenured permit in Alaska. Specifically, this allows for exclusive use on the Chugach National Forest, which is beyond description. Immense, steep, and wind protected, it is the crown jewel of the Chugach Range.
Here's the details:
A group of ten would rent the entire heli for 14 hobbs hours over seven days. Privates are based on a two hour daily minimums which can be used at any time during the seven day stay. Private heli contracts are billed by the hobbs hour, which means you are paying only when the helicopter is flying, not sitting on the ground.
This usually costs over $7,000 per person, but after the discount it would be $4,000 per person (with 10 people sharing the heli)
PM me with questions or call the office and let them know you are a maggot.
And now for a few pics...

I guess bookings are way down (to almost none), so cash talks 'cause empty seats don't pay the lease on the birds or the pilots ..... sounds like an opportunity for a killer deal on dreamy AK hero skiing ....
