Dude. Everyone should enjoy the videos posted above. 1:20 into the first one posted is precious. The music in the longer video is fantastic.

No,never !
This one is a short ski with fins (center of decelaration) being positioned BEHIND ski boots (center of acceleration).
The physics of skiing can expect only automatic stabilization of each ski in the actual driving direction, unless skier himself produces a momentum disturbing this status.
Our experience confirms this.
There are only two exceptions:
- fins are inactive (i.e. not cutting the snow)
- skis are to slow

You're dead on. Raxsking is fucking gay - It looks seriously fucked up. But is looking great the essence of freeriding? Are you not man enough to get girls laid without impressing them by your skiing? Maybe you're chances decrease of getting head on the gondola up because you're skis are not long enough and your wit not strong enough to get over "size does matter".
But then, I am rather gay then a douchebag like most freeskiers who go up the mountain with 2 grand of equipment on them only to go down the easy runs cause they chicken out once it gets rough.
As to not looking great, yeah I do admit they don't look sexy. Here you can see some prototypes from an old snowboard of mine, standing beneath a modded 200cm Radair tanker, and my splitboard.
But then on terrain like you can see on the following picture, they are my first choice. Steep open forest as nice as it's gets. But then nothing for the douchebags that left me that face untouched to attack with my Raxskis, even though it hadn't snowed for more than 10 days and accessible from the lifts without walking.

You going to buy Me My own ski area? I will need one, as I will not be able to withstand the ridicule skiing at My home[not homo] resort.
The music in the second video is suspect. I think there are subliminal messages embedded in it. [after watching went to kitchen and pulled out Crisco. Don't know why, not baking.]www.apriliaforum.com

Brother Tom, you have surfaced again, as usual, with glory.
Recall a visit to Mt. Cranmore last year, if you will. Is this stop in the schedule again? If so, I too shall be there to RAX philosophical.
Please post an agenda of your travels dear brother, as so the maggots can flock and gawk.

We hope to make you happy with our USOs (unidentified
snow-going objects).
When I was "raxing" at LaGrave first time,
French boarders called me "Mars Skier"
and expected my UFO parking next door.
"the music in the video..." is apparently not excellent.
Well, we are ski rebells and engineers, not composers.
