    ON3P Needs TGR's Help - Stolen Skis @ Squaw

I was wondering if people in the Lake Tahoe area could keep their eyes out for a pair of stolen 186cm ON3P JBS that were taken from the village at Squaw Valley last night.

Skis are 186cm long, full twin, 104 underfoot. Pretty similar to a gotama to give you an idea of what they look like.

    Mounted with older salomon s900s.

    This is the graphic

This is the ONLY pair of these skis in the tahoe area. There are a pair of wrenegades around there with the same topsheet graphic, that do not have the big "3" in the tip, owned by powderhound100 on here.

If anyone sees these skis, please let me know so we can get them back to their owner. They were supposed to be competing in the Crystal freeride comp soon and it would be sweet if we could get them back in time .

I figure if there is ANY ski right now that would be easy to track down, this would be it. There is only 52 pairs out there right now and I know where 51 of them are.

Just want to get them back to the owner. Thanks!

Edit - If anyone in the area wants my phone number, or that of the friend who got his stuff jacked, shoot me a PM or email at skiups9 AT gmail DOT com.

What's with people stealing all sorts of rare/custom/one of a kind things lately? ON3P skis, a pro's jacket that's next year's model, etc.

I'm up in SLC, but will keep an eye out. Are there any similar skis here to be aware of?

Thanks you keeping an eye out for em. There are definitely several pairs in slc. I need to double check what topsheets people there have and will post up if there is anything similar.

Jeezuz H., wtf is wrong with the fucking fucks?

And where are all the prick cops that are busting people for pot, the victimless crime?
I'm gonna be up there for Tram Face. And when it's over, I'm gonna plant some skis and see if we can catch a thief.
It might lead to uncovering a whole stash of stolen maggot gear.
I'll beat those fuckers with my crutches!

I'm there most days and will keep an eye out. Not sure whats going on in Tahoe, but I have been hearing of cars getting broken into on West Shore etc. Time to lock things up. Sorry to hear about the skis. Should be easy to spot. What do the bases look like?

    No serial or anything.

Unfortunately this topsheet was the one we used the most, even though there is 2 versions of it. Any skis with this topsheet that does not have the big "3" in the tip, as following, is out (see photo). It is a wrenengade (there is a pair in Tahoe, as well as pairs in Jackson, Bozeman, Portland, Seattle, and Vancouver).

So you wanna be looking for this tip:

    Not this one:

The only other JBS models are in Portland, Seattle, or back east.

There are caylors, billy goats, jeronimos, AND blue steeles with that topsheet basically. But They are all very different.

Caylor = Huge, 191cm and 121 underfoot - only pairs with that graphic are in Vancouver and Montana

Billy Goat = tapered tip and tail, only pair with that graphic is in Seattle

Jeronimos = Pretty symmetrical, and fatter (145/115/142). Only pairs with that graphic are in Seattle, Chicago, Portland, and wherever Hunter (300hp) is now, I think Summit Country.

Blue Steeles - skinny park ski, and only pairs with that graphic are in Portland and back east.

That probably doesn't help too much. I will see if Josh had any stickers or anything on em.

I would say if you see/hear of any pair for sale, that is probably them. I pretty much know where every pair is and when anything is for sale because I have been trying to get them to other people who have been wanting pairs, so if I don't know about it, it is the stolen pair.

Better file a police report, or no one will be able to do squat even if they do find them. Has that been done?

I am pretty sure one was filled with Squaw security, but last time I talked to Josh he had not (yet) filled a police report. I will let him know he should do that.

Sucks about your skis. After reading all these posts about shit getting ganked, I think it might be time to start locking stuff up. Tahoe is an amazing place and it's nice to think that you can leave your house, car, skis, etc. unlocked, but reality is people suck.

I'm down with Splat's plan, though. Of course the cops can't do anything, there's six of them doing a search on a car pulled over for a license plate light being out, four more kicking it at 7-11, and the rest patting themselves on the back for busting a cancer patient with weed.

    Cool

    talk about manufacturer support!!

you can't get this kind of thing with a set of K2s

you builders and retailers, like Splat and Iggy, who go out of your way to look after your customers like this are solid fucking gold

one of you guys are gonna build my next set, guaranteed, if you haven't already

never mind the the stand alone quality and superiority of your skis,
this kinda shit is worth WAY more than the $$ it takes to buy your products

    you motherfuckers ROK

if you run into someone on something similar to this, i think the best thing to do would be to ask "hey man, what kind of skis are those?" if you hear anything other than "one three p", take him out.

Well, most people, including myself, say it O N 3 P (oh en three p) so that might get you in trouble . Same with change for a nickle as some of the people are ns people and might not know what it means.....although for the most part, that should be a pretty good gauge.

I think it should be pretty easy to tell who should have a pair and who shouldn't, though.
