I'd love to pick these up for the velocity challange out here next year. My 216 DH boards stick me in the production class.

I'm pretty strapped this year after picking up 5 freakin pair of race skis this year. I'll likely have to track somethign down next year.

    Good deal for someone tho!

BTW if they are actually speed skis which it looks like they are the radius would be 99 meters I think...

If you want to work a trade or something I have some DH boards and bindings and some various race stock stuff around that I'm not using anymore.(all my freeride stuff is singles) PM me if you like.

If arctic man is suppose to be a speed event, why would they ban speed skis? doesn't that seem a little bass-ackwards?

I would rock those, but can't justify $400....even though that's a screaming deal.

I think the race director was trying to level the playing field a bit. it was turning into rubber suits, fairings, and speed helmets, and speed skis and a decent downhiller could barely compete unless you had all that shit. now all gear used has to be DH stock equipment. no rubber suits, fairings etc. it's actually kinda cool, cause there are lots more people that are entering now.
speed suits or not though, the world cup boys still destroy the field!

    Still available?

I have a buyer for the Atomics if still available. The skis will definitely be used for a twisted web production. Hit me at boobfreek@gmail.com if we can do business.

yes, they are still available. do you have anyone here that can vouch for you?

between your email address and your 'twisted web production' I can't help but get the image of two chicks trying to sex my speed skis out of my head. you know these aren't twin-tips right?

I'll send you an email, but you've got some explaining to do... oh, and I'll be the first to say, if by chance, I'm not too far off on your little webisode, there will be a clause in our contract that TGR gets a free-link. capiche?

^^those pics are retarded, geezz. they do look like great skis for hot-dogging at the end of the season, or for outrunning an avalanche....

    christmas bump!

Having trouble thinking of a Christmas gift for your girlfriend/wife? Well, it's your lucky day! Nothing says you love her as much as you do baby Jesus than 476 cms of shiny, red-painted, metal and wood! As an added bonus for you, I will wrap these in Christmas paper, and place a bow every half-meter along the skis and put a name tag (From: mag's real name To: mag's wife's real name) on the gift. All you have to do is pull them out of the shipping package and slide them under the tree!

would LOVE to take a spin on them, but, alas, what i would want them for is no longer ok. Damn insurance co's, what makes a 238 any more dangerous than a 220? What makes a speed suit any more dangerous than a zuit suit? And since AV hasn't had a speed ski comp in YEARS, can't really use them anywhere besides the rivers in fbanks, eh?

BTW, why not wrap these for said gf and say honey, i bought a sled JUST for us to enjoy your gift...

Turn radius should be somewhere around 110m. Sounds like a good bump ski!
