    AlaskaMountaineeringSchool

Hey guys, I'm new here to the site and was hoping to get some feedback. I'm considering the AMS school for my Wilderness First Responder certification and was hoping someone out there had some experience with the company to give me some feedback? Thanks.

Alpine Dreams - that wasn't a mountaineering question dickhead. It was a question about AMS who offers wilderness first responder courses. This is prob the dumbest forum to ask that question, which is another issue entirely.

Regarding AMS, I've heard good things. I got my WFR through one of their affiliates, but not AMS directly so I can't offer any first hand advice.

AD was just trying to steer the person in the right direction.

I know nothing about AMS, but you'll be better off asking your question in the ski forums. Your question may not be entirely ski related. However, many backcountry skiers already have WFR or something similar, or they may be considering getting it. If you don't want to do it in the ski forums, then try the Padded Room.

    Brokesomeribs,

Frankly, I was being quite nice by our standards. The thread I directed him to mearly points out what the content of the Summit forum is. Thanks for chiming in, I'm sure you've gained quite a lot of respect around here. Now go away

I came here for one reason, then someone else gained my undivided attention.

But seriously folks, Colby Coombs and AMS are as legit as they get. Pay attention and enjoy Talkeetna.
