They're with the Vancouver police right now. Jesse won't provide identification.....however, his phone number matches the same number Conundrum has, and I talked to Jesse several times on the phone today. (he told me his name was Jesse)

I am 99.9999% sure this is THE dude.

Let's hope this works out the way it should.

Blurred got a phone number from the guy, compared notes with Conundrum, called the guy, who said his name was Jesse, then Blurred called me looking for someone in Vancouver to dish out some justice. I recommended someone, but it appears someone got a hold of Pulver and it all came to a head. Hopefully the thief will get banned from Canada and have to show his face in the PNW resorts, which would be uncomfortable for Jesse, though he has exhibited a penchant for pillow biting abuse.

Soooo, here's the story.

Most of you know I want an S1 beacon pretty badly, especially after hacksaw showed me how to use one on Vail Pass.
Well I get a PM from a maggot leading me to one on Gear Swap.

I pm the guy my phone number, and shortly thereafter, my phone rings.

Dude tells me how he needs the money right away, and is on his way to Whistler.
I ask him what his name is, and he nervously on the spot replies "Jesse".
This confirms what I thought, and I continue the conversation.

When I get off the phone with him, I instantly look up the number.... Seattle number.

I then call Conundrum. I repeat the number to him. He confirms it's Jesse Jones.

I call Jesse back, and arrange a fictious friend to meet him in Vancouver (where he claims to be)

At this point, I'm not convinced dude is actually in Van, so I don't get a hold of anyone yet. Jesse tells me he'll be at the Sutton Hotel. I call the bellstaff, and confirm whether the vehicle he described is parked out front.
I'm now convinced Jesse is in Vancouver. I have another conversation on the phone with Jesse, and tell him that he just missed my friend.
Now being convinced that Jesse wants to do business for real, IO contact PulverSchwein.

At this point, I'm sure that:
A)Jesse is in Vancouver
B)He has the beacon
C)He is desperate

I'd just about guarantee the beacon is stolen.....$300 new, in the box? Yeah, right.

I basically at this point hand off the whole deal to PulverSchwein. They exchange phone calls and agree to meet at a certain spot. PS apparently is headed out to a Hockey game with several friends, and they're in tow when they meet up with Jesse.

The idea was PS meets Jesse. Inspects the beacon, and only gives it back if Jesse can show ID that clears him of being Jesse Jones.
(we had decided that I would pay for the beacon, and give the money to Conundrum to make up for his losses)

Well, Jesse, being the weasel he is claims he has no ID....PS and crew try and find some real cops, but with the douche in tow, could only find a security guard who was worthless.

They finally had to give the beacon back to Jesse and he ran off.
PS and friends went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND for this community.
They did all they could without going to jail or what not.

Jesse, be happy it turned out this way....it's a good thing this didn't happen to you in Whistler with Powder11's waiting to greet you.

Jesse, just like the voicemail I left on your phone states.....
You are either going to:
A)pay Conundrum what you owe him and quit scamming maggots
or
B)I WILL find you and make it right. That WILL happen. I promise you that.

PS has pics of Jesse tonight, so make no mistake about it, this WAS him.
That with the matching phone number, no brainer.

Also, don't buy anything from the guy posting as "canadian" if you haven't figured that out already.
