    Trouble Deciding on bindings

First and foremost, hi to all

i'm about to get myself a pair of 2008 K2 Crossfires but i'm stuck on choosing between two sets. one of them has Salomon S10 (what i gather is really Z10) demo bindings, and the other set has Marker 12.0 Titanium bindings with turntable thingys in the middle.

i have searched around this forum and got the impression demo bindings suck a bit right?

plus it seems demo bindings are quite useless to me as i wont need the adjustability of demos.... and they do seem quite tall

should i buy on brand and stick with the salomon bindings just because they're sallys or get the pair with marker 12.0s because they may be better than the demos?

Thank you very much for your help

    Tom

It depends on if they are the 160 or 174 crossfires.

Doesn't "turntable thingy" mean demo binding as well?

    Markers. Myth or Reality?

A lot of experienced skiers do not like Marker bindings, and that's the way it seems on here. (I'm a Binders JONG,btw)

I thought that maybe they were living in the past...
But just a week, or 2 ago, a friend using new Marker Griffin bindings on some Line 'lizabeth ski's, landed in the backseat off a jump, causing his ski to 'jeculate
...Hmn, look, the heel binding has moved forward...'troller try's to fix it for him...
Hmn, look, the heel binding fell off
Now, it might just be a sloppy shop tech, but, well, you know...

    The distilled wisdom:
    Go with Solly.
    Go with metal.

Although, well I'm a lightweight, but have had good Rossi/Look bindings before, and currently have (plastic ) Solly bindings on my BRO's.

Perhaps you can sell the Demo bindings, and remount? Although it's prolly a bad idea to make extra holes.

...Remember, those who think Global Warming is Fake, also think that Adam & Eve were Real...
