    I've been working on the B&W stuff, mainly willing family members. It's much trickier than I would have thought.

    The tones on the first one are really good. It’s so hard to find the right balance to get good contrast in B&W. It’s some sort of dark art I think.

    Agreed. I've found that cropping has a much bigger effect tonally on B&W than color. Or at least that's what I think so far. Here's the middle one simply cropped. Feels very different to me.
