    Picture of the Day

Another forum I belong to has a "picture of the day" thread. Looks like a pretty good idea, lots of good submissions on that thread, so why not try it here. It's not a contest, just an opportunity to show off your work or post up something cool each day.

I'll lead off with something from Christmas Day:

...Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain...

"I enjoy skinny skiing, bullfights on acid..." - Lacy Underalls

The problems we face will not be solved by the minds that created them.

Good idea, I have a lot of photos that aren't thread worthy but still fun to share. Here's one from yesterday,

^^ Is that off of the south side US-2 over looking Lake Michigan?
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

The things you find on the net.

No, it's actually looking out towards the Strait of Georgia from Semiamhoo bay in Washington state.

(at risk of ruining the oomph behind the picture by telling this but)

Well that's not really their living situation (I don't think...but could be as some of the Kiwis used to live in a motorhome when I worked there) as it was in the overnight parking lot at Crystal I was jealous.

Taken a while ago but haven't looked at it in a while and I kinda like it so here ya go.
I sort of turned it into a poster 'cause it kind of looked like a poster-y photo.

I'm going to try to take at least one picture a day to keep the thought of snapping pics forefront in my mind (ok, that's unrealistic, but whatever)

    This was yesterday's pic.

not only is TGR the best online skiing forum, the photo section is getting pretty good! Lots of talent here! Plus no pictures of cats... so far

    Just for you:

And to try to make up for that:
