This is a photo I took back in 2004 on 35mm slide film. I went searching for it today because I've got a vacation planned to Banff this summer. My wife and I went to Banff back in 2004 for our fifth wedding anniversary and the weather was terrible. We drove from Seattle and it rained hard the entire way, rained while we were there, and rained on the drive home. I'm hoping the weather is a little better this summer.

Did the clouds clear at all when you were there? I hiked up to teahouse with my family, it was fun to calculate the approximate length of the valley by watching parts of the glacier calve off the cliffs and counting the delay. Good luck with the weather

Very slightly. We hiked up to the teahouse, too. This year we'd like to also get up to Jasper. Didn't make it there last time.

Nah, it was a nice morning, I was in flops and a hoody. Assuming you're responding to me.
