Got really lucky on that one. Only about three minutes of real color in the sky all week and it was the morning I was at Oxbow.

Met this fella yesterday morning, a bit too close for comfort. He was not stoked that I was looking at him and made a bit of a run at me which I took as a good time to GTFO.

This is my first foray in this thread and you guys live in some awesome playgrounds and take great pics. The photography work on this one isn't anything special, but subject matter makes up for it. Very nice. I think I've got to start on page 1 and view a few pages/day as a pick me up while I'm at work.

Gonna start dipping my toe back into this POTD sandbox. Hopefully you're patient with me as I work through a backlog of summer shots.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

I posted a similar vantage in the seemingly defunct MPC a few challenges ago. That one is hudge above my fireplace. This one was nixed by the wife as the pinks and purples don't jive with the tones in the room.

Sunday was a slog, 18 miles and most of that in hail and rain. Worth it though. Elkhart and then Island x2.

Way farther than I want to hike. Well done. I used to be able to get out west in September but can't with a kid in high school. So quiet and such beautiful colors.

    Did you fish?
