dammit I stacked every filter I had and swore the readout said ISO 100 ... but it was really at ISO 500! I was hoping for a little more detail.
f/32, 1/8000 @ 200mm, 3 stop ND stacked onto a CP

^nicely done! Clear weather makes it much less dramatic when shooting the sun

nice pd
cool eclipse shots folks, we didn't have wispy clouds in Reno, it went behind a big ol' goddamn cloud for those 5 minutes. At least from my vantage point in the backyard.
mtcham, I'm stoked for a south american tr at some point here.

thanks splitter. your river pics are the inspiration for my efforts. unfortunately here, the hike/ski ended too early and the pooch had gotten his energy back before the light got low enough for any longer exposures.
took this one from cave rock the evening before the eclipse (when there weren't a hundred people there)

Nice. The view from Norquay right?
Low e double pane garage door glass reflecting the eclipse as it hovered over my neighbors house. iso 100 at like f22 with filters and fast shutter. I set focus on infinity and held the camera up and just fired off a few shots at different angles hoping to get something.

Not quite sure how this happened but I believe it is due to sun flare.
Shot the eclipse in Lake Powell after getting to our campsite via kayaks. Super awesome and we were the only ones for miles.
