I can understand that. For me, I think the processing fits the subject matter.

Here's a few of those with a slightly different look including no vignetting...

Here are a few photo highlights from a recent trip two weeks ago out to southern Utah and Northern Arizona to go hike out to The Wave (2nd try) and to see other great sights in Zion NP, Bryce Canyon NP, and Page. There are several more photos on my site which all can be seen by clicking on any of these photos

Two nuclear sunset pictures from Chestnut yesterday looking across the Mississippi river at Iowa. The first one I did bring up and take some blue out of the foreground but the sky is straight out of the camera. The second picture is straight out of the camera minus a crop. Not the best compositions because I was rushing around while watching my girl but fun pictures anyway. 24-105

Borealis from last weekend & the solar events a few days prior. Near Deadhorse, AK - temps that night were near -40, with wind chills around -60. needless to say I didn't spend much time outside ...

Edited with UFRaw & GIMP - I probably should do something with the washed out lights, but i'm lazy ... Also, must have caught a satellite or something up in the right corner - didn't notice til I got this on my computer.

Race....................... I forgot my good card = card full

And now we know why you lost so much time.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.
