Yeah Tuck, bring us more bob-houses! The ice by our house on Pine Island just came in the past couple days. Looks more solid over there in Meredith Harbor.

People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Not yet. Ice too thin. There will be. I'm in California, so I get my Winniporn from here: http://www.bearcam1.com/ - our dock is the one halfway between the tree and the left edge of that image. Centre Harbor is in the distance in the center of the image, and Three Mile Island is to the right.

^Nice one.
My little girl raided the wife's underwear drawer when I wasn't watching.

Headed down to Yellowstone this morning hoping to catch some wolves and pulled up to the entrance and forgot my damn pass. Found some other animals.

That's a really nice photo Steve - it can be pretty hard to expose in snow for skiers wearing black. Great job!

Hey Steve, tell powtron he's going to dislocate his thumbs skiing with his straps like that!

mtcham, again great wildlife shots.
I'm aching to get out for a real photo shoot. I tend to handle the baby during prime light hours and pretty much my whole day off, outside of a couple of sneaky trips to some (until now) brown, dead meadows in the mountains with the dogs in the middle of the day.
With the new snow, and hopefully more eventually, and the bulk of my paternity leave starting the first week of February when I begin working 3 days a week until summer, the wife assures me she will let me out on her days off for some pretty light in the morning.
Until then, the little man in his bouncy chair...
