still working on it. got to find a comfy place for the dog to crash next to some running water. seems like more of a spring thing though since by the time it gets dark enough to run a longer exposure it's too cold for him to crash anywhere

I can't wait to see what you big dawgs captured of the eclipse this morning. These suck, but I like the content. I was hoping for a semi-decent one with the glow on the snow, but no luck. These are the moments I really wish I had the gear and background to get the shots:

I was told that a half moon will get better results not sure if thats true.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Nice shots. Does anyone have any of the moon coming out of the eclipse?

Couple shots I took during a photo session for an old friend on Sunday. Taken with my "new" Canon 85mm f/1.8 lens just after sunset, which made lighting a bitch. This lens rocks.

it had set in these parts. here is the last one i have and required a bit of processing just to get the moon to show. it's starting to come out, but the sun is getting higher and it was moving behind the haze.
