Whoot, a cover with a twenty year old photo!
Stoked that Kootenay Mountain Culture has used a photo I shot in 1989 as the Cover of their Winter 08/09 Roots issue! It may be a "regional" mag, but I'd say it stands up with any outdoor mag out there and Hell, it's FREE!

How much weed was onboard?
Sweet mag though, I remember picking one up in Nelson not too long ago. Wish I could find them around here.

Talk about a pic worth a thousand words...
My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.

That photo gets me a little moist. I was on a roadie with 4 friends out west in a van back in the early 90's. NICE PIC!
"Pffffft, Please."
Never, EVER, give them permission to enter your vehicle, the dogs are not coming.

"Skifreak Retrospective"
niceSomething about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

I don't want to diss any other mags, but the KMC is the best ski mag I have ever read. It's what Alpinist is to climbing in its own way.
