TR: Jackson Hole Tram Opening Goes Off

Riding the tram this morning was unbelievable. Walk on Trams, 4,139 vertical foot runs in under 15 minutes, negative 10 degrees, a foot of powder, friends in the tramline, it all began to feel a lot like Jackson Hole Again!!!!

The rest of the story and some sick photos here!! It is so sick to have the tram back.

Kind of an irrelevant claim, but I think I may have been the first to snowboard and ski the new tram. The snow was super cold and slow. I started the day on the board, but was getting worked on the traverses, so I switched to the skis by 10:30. Not quite like Rick Armstrong's claim of being the first to ski and snowboard the Ford on the Grand.

Amazing night and fun party followed at the Moose. I did 2 tram laps Sat and everytime people were excited, talking about the new tram dock, how it swung on tower 2, the moving tram platform, it was like a bunch of kids at Christmas examining their new toys. And best of all, since the tram officially opened it hasn't stopped snowing!!

And I was worried it might be over-the-top.
    Congrats!
