The spring corn harvest is in full effect. Been away from the bowl for a week, and decided to sneak up from work this afternoon before the weather change.

Disco hasn't had new snow in awhile. I didnt get out this weekend but friends said backside was staying cold and snow was ok. Front side got really warm last week and then stayed cold yesterday so it was less than ideal. Think we're sposed to stay fairly warm this week with no significant snow in forecast. Cant speak on lost trail. I'll be in helena all week otherwise I'd offer to spin some laps.

Mother Nature likes to tease you with warmer weather first. You get comfortable from all the heat, feeling the heat from that sun, you shed a few layers and put on something more comfortable.

Then... SLAP! She'll hit you with a one-two punch of March.

    Enjoy it while you can.

Angry inch up at the bowl today. Helped a bit but we definitely need a heavy dump to bury the coral reef.

Up top things stayed cold in the afternoon, but as you descended the bowls it turned more and more into whipped cream cheese. Good on top of a bagel, but made for some sticky turns.

fun day at LT. chair 4? (far chair) opened at 1:30 as the winds slowed down a bit. Almost like 2 pow day as we lapped 1& 2 in the am. Then off to ski 4. Pure S facing slushed up, but anything else was fine. Lots left on chair 4 for tomorrow too.

Off to ski silver tomorrow and back north after

Jesus christ it's 60 degrees at Disco right now. It was 38 at 5:50 am. I guess Mrs. Rootskier is getting a hell of a tan.

Sure good to get some sun today, but may have been a touch too much. Recommending a warm wax

Rub some graphite wax on, optionally cork it in too, then iron on your slush wax.
Careful of the sky fire orb.

Good timing on your part. Was up there a few weeks back, and only got enough new snow to soften up the crust in the steeps.

    20cm+ sounds dreamy up there.
