After skiing yesterday slop, I would highly recommend double fisting double Jack and Cokes. Don't get me wrong I had a few good turns (mostly on up top, Angel Face and Chicken) but the rest was, well......super mashers. Take some quaffing pics!

Rallied today and it was wildly variable. Deep, untracked, and sticky. better where it had been skiied.
AND then . . . . THUNDERSNOW!!!! they closed the lifts while it blew threw. It was snowing larger-than-pea-size, but less-dense-than-ice groppel with thunder booming all around. And then it changed to 1-2 inch fluff flake that made us feel like we were gonna get another foot of fresh and then it ended. Chairs ran again, we skiied and boarded on with open containers, pizzas were made and eaten, pretty par for a saturday really.

I'll be there today, and be quite obvious (I'll be in white). There's gonna be the usual kegger/bonfire at the triple J ranch (Turstenjack's) later on, untill the wee hours.

A little belated, but what the hell... A few closing day pics.
I told myself I wouldn't start drinking until at least noon. With that in mind, I managed to hold out until 10:15. The Gelande Quaffing table got put into use by around 11:00, which meant that I was pretty drunk by 1ish. We toughed it out and maintained the buzz well into the evening, but now my sweet one piece is sticky and covered in dried beer.

lookout just got a bunch of snow it looks like.
Im lookin to head basically anywhere thursday or more likely friday (i sorta have thanksgiving plans but they could be put on hold for freshies). Anyone have an idea of what will be the best option?? only ones I even know of that will be open are look out and big sky. big sky is a trek but i could maybe work in a bozeman visit for a night.

The t bar is open this weekend! RAD.
Against my better judgement I might go just to pick up my pass so I'll have it if/when it ever snows.

Did they actually manage to open on time this year, or did ski patrol sleep in like last year's 11:00 opening?

I remember noon last year...but far more importantly...
ALTHOUGH UNCERTAINTY STILL EXISTS...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW IS
BECOMING MORE POSSIBLE SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY NIGHT AS AN
ARCTIC FRONT MAY SHIFT WESTWARD ACROSS THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND
STALL SUNDAY. MEANWHILE AN APPROACHING PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM IS
EXPECTED TO SPREAD SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF MOISTURE OVER THIS
ARCTIC FRONT AND SUPPORT A PROLONGED PERIOD OF MODERATE TO HEAVY
SNOW IN BOTH VALLEYS AND MOUNTAINS.

Tonight's game was impressive. The weather alone was fun to watch, I have to think that helped us tonight. Appl. state was looking good.
