Does anyone have any info on what the road conditions out to Hoodoo are like? How far can you make it out there right now?

Does snowbowl have a policy on skinning up while they're not open? What about early in the morning before the lifts start running?

If you didn't hike up to the bowls with Lavelle closed today you missed out. Me best runs of the season by far.

Greetings Catwoman; no the thread is not dead, but I have spent little time on TGR as of late, and I am barely skiing at all this season, so I haven' been possessed of great knowledge of the Bowl, and dropping great wisdom about the conditions like: "if you don't go you don't know."

I do know that it was sunny yesterday and it isn't today, so it's likely to be, you guessed it, variable conditions, leaning toward the firm side.

Oh, and since that was your first post, shouldn't we have been seeing a steamy photo with your post?

The new snow helped at The Bowl yesteday, but one still scraped off the refreeze beneath it.
