This was a decent season, in my view. I agree that March has been lacking in pow and will continue to do so, but it sure as shit was no 2010.

How's the snowpack at Lost Trail? Thinking of heading up next week if these storms look like snow instead of rain.

Looks like wordbird can start looking for his/her next lifestyle-ing place or area code to call 'home' on the internets. It will only be downhill from here. MSO might not provide you with the Bro-Artillery you need to fight your ShakaWars.
Squeezin' a little more every other day

I don't know what you're on about, we had very few refreeze events this season, much less than average. In that regard the season was exceptional. The fact that you consider last season mediocre, indicates an imported standard, not one based on the reality of Snowbowl's historical tendencies.

SWE has about average. It's been an ok, if mogully, season. Need some more face shots before hiking for turns or jumping on the bike.
Not super stoked on hiking for turns either, but my boots might fit better now and I read some good skinning tips here.
Really just want to do Lolo.

Foraged out into the Bitterroots on Thursday with wordbird, and skied Pinball Wizard off of St. Joespeh peak. The 6am start allowed *just* enough time to climb over little joe and get to the start zone before the sun wrecked it.
Had to navigate some recent wet-slide debris later down in the pinch, but it held up and the last turns at the bottom delivered.
Overall it was a fantastic descent.
The legs hurt today. But no sunburn or blisters, so I'll call that a big win in my book.
Some of the views:
Cheers

Wow! Nice photos.
Happy to report that I'll be looking to connect with Missoula mags next season. House in on the market in Iowa and plans for a Missoula move are in the works. Approval to continue my remote work with current employer. Can't wait to get back to Montana, will have to research the possibilities of removing Iowa from my username.
Looking forward to giving Ronnie a hug
