While I love looking back at last year, when it actually snowed. I think this thread may have singlethreadedly jinxed us this year.

It is my recommendation that all further messages be directed to some other thread that does not mention W. Montana getting snow.

Yeah, because everyone knows that the weather is severely affected by the bullshit posted on the interwebs.

Well, this thread had about 10x as much activity last winter and about 10x more snow so I think we can look at this thread as a symptom, not a cause.

no one believes in karma or good mojo?

was it the chicken before the egg? i think we can all agree that if we had the snow, this thread would be legendary.

    Curious.
It's human nature to seek a scape goat when events transpire other than in the manner desired. In his case, mtskier believes talking about the weather online this winter has created the weather pattern which was initially forecast toward the end of last summer.

I went last weekend. I've been working a lot (boooo!!!) and yes, kayaking for the last 4 weekends.

Before that, it was 6 or 7 weeks. Props to the people who get after it no matter the conditions...I'm not afraid to admit I'm a fair weather (read: powder) skier.

Here's the deal, while I might have been stretching it to say that this thread jinxed the winter. I don't think its a stretch to say that it hasn't "WOOT WOOT nuked" in Missoula for a long time.

All I'm suggesting is that we considering breaking new ground on a thread a little less boasting and more truthful. You don't see all the other mass TR's playing up an 8" storm as nuking. In fact inflating the validity of such conditions might lead to the degradation of truth as we know it.

How about WOOT WOOT! It's Raining in msla! that would be as unassuming as most probably wish to be and could mean just about anything for the ski hill.

Like I said, 8" is not nuking by most resort standards. However this winter, I'll take what I can get. Lets start a more realistic thread, I'll see ya up there.
