You don't have to explain yourself to anyone.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

No, we've just been going up boulder and haven't hit resort at all. The guys we're crashing with have been playing tour guide. Cheaper to sled on 30$ a day in gas, as kate doesn't have an all areas pass, and why bother when you could have unlimited pow to yourself? It's kinda nice being up there alone.

If anyone has paid attention trucks are the cheapest they've ever been right now.

Last year on the road I stayed with mags or fellow competitors and either slept in the truck or couch surfed all but 1 comp, and prize money pays most of the food and gas.

Right now skiing is my life, you can make sacrifices to make it cheaper. Or in my case, I'm still living at home at 20 and it makes it a LOT cheaper. And lets not be fooled skiing was never a "poor" man's sport.
Well said - I like this a lot.

Agree about having the mtns to yourself, didn't hit revy once last year when we got the sleds going. Just that the conditions were prime this week. Revy gives a good discount for other mtns seasons passes.

    SWEET!!! Nice trip girl!

Agree you shouldn't have to explain your situation to anyone ... you do what you love and you are happy ... that's all that matters.

Kick ass Nadia. You simply make many here jealous as we decided to live life a different way. Maybe a way that is not as satisfying in certain ways.

I may envy your fun and stoke here, but not your knees.

    Keep on keepin on.

Yeah, I was thinking it was somewhere else further east....hence the secrecy. Then I noticed the cabin, I usually sled ski from the Golden side.

This is one of many and be glad the pics don't show up anymore, at least on my machine at work, could be blocking something.

Take a little teasing, I hear its common around TGR (note: I didn't write the tags, you can ask the mods)

I'm sorry for not being blown away by your big sled and truck and pictures of snow.
