Goddamn. Knew I should have brought a pair back east.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

    gmen.

i'm back east for a week... came from jackson. we were in a good pattern out there, but back here, things appear in better shape overall. the weather may work out the next few days- light accumulations throughout VT, especially up north.

i drove up to smuggs for a hike last weekend, brought the skis cause it was snowing a bit. the drive up from the valley areas showed 1-3", but 12" of superlight greeted us up at the base. we skied.

then it snowed again. heavier- which is good. and no rain. so now they're at about a foot of base- which is a solid foot- no fluff. things may pan out well this weekend through early next week with decent chance for snow in the forecast everyday through monday.

i'm glad i'm back in new england, and not out west. vermont is the shit.

Talking Good Snow at Gore less at Whiteface

Snow over my boots at Gore last Friday. It was a sick day in the trees. Raining in Saratoga right now. Go East Coast!
