    Fruita Fliers…

How is the riding there these days? Still dry? Im headed up to Vail/Beave area (hey, free place to crash and free lift tickets) on Sat and its not looking good, but with a rental car, Fruita is a fantastic option!!

    Thanks!
When seconds count...ski patrol, SAR or the cops are only minutes away...

If they call it Tourist Season, why cant we shoot them?

I rode the lunch loops yesterday and its dry and dusty....looking at the weather forecast though, it may not be that way by Saturday.

    Agreed.

We were planning on Lunch Line this weekend, but the pending snowfall here is looking like rain in GJ.

    meh??

with the lack of impending snow in salt lake my roommate and i decided we should head to fruita this weekend.

I'm only seeing a 20% chance of rain/snow on thursday and friday morning, then partly cloudy the rest of the weekend. Even if that 20% pans out, i would think it's likely to be more of the scattered shower variety? And if it's dry and dusty currently... would a few showers not make for tacky dirt? I know 18 road generally needs more time to dry out, but it seemed like lunch loops/kokopelli/rabbit valley would drain pretty well. But i don't live there.... is that wrong?
